A calm approach to wedding photography
I've spent years working around weddings, and one thing I've learned is that the best moments usually happen when people feel comfortable.
That is exactly how I approach photography.
I'm not there to take over your day, rush you around, or make everything feel staged. I'm there to document the day as it really happened — the emotion, the laughter, the atmosphere, the people, the details and the moments you'll want to remember years from now.
Weddings move quickly. There are nerves, timings, guests, suppliers, family members, weather, speeches, music and a hundred little things happening at once. Having someone calm behind the camera makes a real difference.
I'll guide you when needed, especially for family photos and couple portraits, but for most of the day I'll simply be watching, anticipating and capturing the moments as they unfold.
My Background
Why weddings?
Before focusing more on wedding photography, I had already spent a lot of time around wedding days through creative work, music and film.
That experience has given me a strong understanding of how weddings actually feel from the inside. I understand the flow of the day, the pressure of timings, the importance of being discreet, and how much the atmosphere matters.
Photography, for me, is about more than taking nice pictures. It is about telling the story of the day properly.
The quiet bits.
The emotional bits.
The funny bits.
The moments nobody planned.
That is what I'm looking for.
What I'm like on the day
Couples usually want someone who is friendly, calm and easy to have around.
That is exactly what I aim to be.
I'll chat when it helps, disappear into the background when needed, help keep things moving when the timeline gets busy, and make sure you're never stood around for ages wondering what happens next.
I want your photos to feel beautiful, but I also want the experience of having them taken to feel easy.

My photography style is:

I'll capture the big moments, but I'll also pay attention to the little ones: hands being held, guests laughing, flowers being adjusted, proud parents, emotional speeches and the feeling of the room.

I'm currently taking on a limited number of wedding photography bookings while growing this side of my wedding work.
That means every couple gets a very personal service, proper planning and my full attention from the first enquiry through to final gallery delivery.
I do not take a conveyor-belt approach to weddings. I want every couple to feel looked after, relaxed and confident.
